Exercise to have fun and be healthy, not just to lose weight.

There is a good chance that most of us have been told that we should exercise at some point in our life. However, not all of us have been told why we should exercise, what types of exercise we should engage in, and how to stay on track. Hopefully, the tips below will help you on your journey to moving more!

Reasons to exercise:
- improve quality of life and help improve or prevent serious health problems
- it can improve blood pressure and blood sugar
- it can help boost energy, improve sleep cycle, and enhance your mood

Types of exercise:
- walking, biking, dancing, strength training, water workouts, sports, etc.

Staying on track:
- set measurable goals and rewards for yourself
- track your progress using an activity journal
- find an accountability partner
- keep a positive attitude

*If you have a serious medical condition or concerns about your health, be sure to talk to your doctor prior to starting exercise.*
