The Dirty Dozen and The Clean Fifteen

Apr 23, 2024

The Dirty Dozen is a list of fruits and vegetables which were found to have the highest pesticide residues.  Buy this produce in organic form if you can or be sure to wash thoroughly before eating.  There is no nutritional difference between organic and non-organic fruits and vegetables.

The Clean 15 are fruits and vegetables with very low or no trace of pesticides.

This information is according to the EWG, part of the USDA’s Pesticide Data Program and published yearly.
