Angel Program
At The South Carolina Obesity Surgery Center, you will never have to go through the program alone.
If you want, we can assign an "Angel" to you, who will share the story of their surgery. Angels
will be there for you through the entire process from start to finish, coaching, listening and
providing the support you need.
Support Group
One of the strengths of the program at The South Carolina Obesity Surgery Center is the Support Group.
Meeting monthly, the Support Group is the chance for patients to share stories, insight and tips they
have found. At each meeting, a guest speaker will discuss additions to the program, offer educational
insight, or offer information on topics pertinent to patients. Family members are encouraged to attend.
When: First Wednesday of each month, 6pm – 8pm
