Accountability

Mar 22, 2021

With the start of spring and warmer weather, there are several of us looking for ways to get back on track. Let’s face it- this past year has not been an easy one. The good news is that there are several ways to get back on track and turn things around.

Forms of Accountability:

  • Appointment

    • If you haven’t been seen for an appointment lately, make the call NOW! We want to see you and get reconnected.

  • Support Group

    • We are hosting support group, in person and online. The first Tuesday of every month from 6:00-7:00pm. Those attending in person are to wear a mask and social distance. If you can’t attend in person, tune in online at www.scobesity.com/events --> support group à “register to attend online”

  • Food Journal

    • This is one of the best ways to keep yourself accountable daily. You can journal by hand or use an app on your phone. It’s your choice, but it certainly makes a difference when people start seeing what they are actually eating. If you choose to use an app, Baritastic is a wonderful app to help people that have had bariatric surgery.

  • Exercise

    • Start marking your calendar with days that you plan to exercise. When you do exercise, use a fitness app to track your progress.

There are several ways to be accountable. You must choose the right one for you. Regardless, please know that we are here for you and would love to help!
