Changing Habits

Have you ever started a diet with a lot of motivation, but a few weeks in the motivation seems to have decreased? Odds are that most of us have been there. It's human nature. That's because motivation doesn't last, but habits do. Use SMART goals to help you establish new habits.

S: Specific goal
M: Measurable goal
A: Achievable
R: Relevant
T: Time-bound

Example:
My goal is to stop consuming soda within one month. I am currently drinking 40oz per day. I play to cut back 10oz per week and replace it with water. By one month, I should well on my way of establishing a new habit of drinking water versus soda.
